I can’t believe the Summer season is coming to an end. Lately the demands and chaos of the this world have held me captive; leaving me feeling tired and uninspired. I desperately need to recharge my soul. A quote comes to mind, “When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused.”
– Rainer Maria Rilke
As I allow my mind to wander, I reminisce of the salty ocean kisses and sandy beaches of Montego Bay, Jamaica. The warmth of the sun and tropical aromas melt the troubles of the world away.
Because there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline, no matter how many times it’s sent away. –Sarah Kay
Where do you find your inspiration? Once you find it, I hope you take the time to embrace it. Make sure you stop to smell the ocean air, the flowers, or whatever it is that gives your soul peace.
“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” – Andre Gide
